ACNE: Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) has more than 75 ingredients like Amino acids, polysaccharides, legnins, enzymes apart from vitamins and minerals. Aloe vera has soothing and penetrating power; it is also an antiseptic and is very helpful in acne care. Wash your face with cold water with a non alkaline soap (preferably one that contains carbolic acid), then dab it dry and apply Aloe Vera gel and leave it on. Instead, to hydrate the skin, medical professionals suggest soaking it in water, rather than take water i n by mouth. Soaking for a short period of something like fifteen minutes in lukewarm water should put water back into the skin and help to ease the dryness. Doctors also remind patients, that bathing everyday can be negative for their condition. In fact, people with excessively dry skin should only bathe every other day in cooler water than normal. Moisturizing is perhaps the most helpful thing a person can do at home. Moisturizing skin with a moisturizing lotion will help immensely. The lubrication of the lotion will almost immediately be sucked into the skin. Moisturizing lotion put on the skin after a bath or shower will also help contain the moisture from the bath or shower in the skin. The moisturizing lotion will also work to moisturize by itself which gives your skin twice the hydration. Oatmeal is a famous home remedy for this skin dryness. Believe it or not, this home remedy, which was discovered over 4,000 years ago, is still being used today. Colloidal oatmeal, which has been ground into a fine powder for easy use, can be poured into bath water to provide relief for skin dryness. Throughout the years, oatmeal has been used to relieve itching and other discomfort related to skin. Colloidal oatmeal can be found at almost all pharmacies and is extremely easy to use. Oatmeal can also be substituted and used as soap since some soap that contains deodorants can be harmful to dry skin.Also most soaps contain Lye wich can be harmful to the skin and can dry your skin out. Try using soaps without Lye.Homemade soaps are wonderful especially Goats Milk or Soy based homemade soaps. (TDR sells only Soy and Goat milk handmade soaps.) SUNBURN: INGREDIENTS: Tea INSTRUCTIONS: Take some tea bags and make a batch of boiled tea just like mom used to. Place tea in the refridgerator to cool. Once it has cooled dip a rag in and dab on burned area. The titanic acid in the tea will turn the burn to tan. It was used in burn wards for years, and there is a reason. SUNBURN: INGREDIENTS: two teaspoons of ketchup half cucumber pureed 3/4 container of noxema INSTRUCTIONS: mix all together, make sure it is very cold, let sit on area as long as you feel is needed. DO NOT rub in, cover with cold cloth, sit. We have tried several things people suggested and came up with this miracle burn reliever!!! let us know how it worked for you....ITS A SUMMER LIFE SAVER!!! WRINKLES: Apply egg whites to the skin under your eyes. Odor-free castor oil can be applied to the skin under the eyes or on that of the throat. Empty the contents of 3 Vitamin E capsules into a small bowl. Add to this 2 tsps plain yogurt, 1/2 tsp honey and 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Apply this mixture on the face using a cotton ball. Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse. A mixture of 1/4 cup comfrey infusion, 1/4 cup witch hazel and 10 drops of patchouli essential oil is effective in treating wrinkles. This can be stored in a clean bottle and applied on affected areas with a cotton ball. Gently massage coconut oil on portions of skin prone to wrinkles every night a bedtime.

DRY/CALLUSED FEET: Vinegar Soak Soak your dry callused feet once a week in a large dishpan or similar container filled with warm water, a drop of dishwashing liquid, and approximately one cup of white vinegar. Soak them for about a half hour. After soaking, rinse your feet, and thoroughly pat them dry. Apply your favorite lotion especially formulated for very dry skin, and put on a pair of clean cotton socks. This is one of the best doctor recommended home remedies for dry callused feet. Baking Soda Soak For those who don’t care for the smell of vinegar, try soaking your dry callused feet in a soothing solution of baking soda and warm water. Add about ½ cup of baking soda for every gallon of warm water, and stir the solution until the baking soda dissolves. Soak them for about a half hour. After soaking, rinse away the baking soda, and pat your feet dry. Generously apply dry-skin lotion of your choice, and cover them with a pair of clean cotton socks.
